Overview

H&P (Helmerich & Payne) is a drilling contractor headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma, providing land and offshore drilling rigs, performance-based contracts, well engineering, survey management and rig automation technology to oil and gas producers. Founded in 1920 and listed on the New York Stock Exchange, it operates the FlexRig land fleet that is a mainstay of US shale basins and expanded across the Middle East and offshore through its 2025 acquisition of KCA Deutag. It hires rig crews and electricians in Argentina, HSE coordinators, accountants, tax and treasury specialists, ERP and cloud engineers, supply chain staff and HR partners in Tulsa, Saudi Arabia and India.
