IGNIA is a Monterrey-based venture capital firm that invests in innovative technology companies founded by Latin American and global entrepreneurs. It backs early-stage businesses in areas such as fintech, health, software and consumer services, and was known in its first funds for impact investing in companies serving low-income consumers. The firm was founded in 2007 by Álvaro Rodríguez Arregui and Michael Chu and is headquartered in Monterrey, Mexico.
