Overview
Jack Link's, legally Link Snacks, is an American family-owned maker of protein snacks best known for beef jerky, meat sticks and meat-and-cheese packs. It was founded in 1986 by Jack Link in the north woods of Wisconsin on family sausage recipes brought from Germany, and now sells a house of brands that includes Jack Link's, Lorissa's, Golden Island, BiFi, Peperami and KOOEE. The company runs plants and offices in the United States and Europe, among them the Ansbach site in Germany that produces Peperami and BiFi for European markets.
