KKR to sell Kokusai Electric to Applied Materials for $2.2 bln
Applied Materials Inc said July 1 that it agreed to buy Kokusai Electric Corp for $2.2 billion from KKR. Kokusai provides batch processing systems and services for memory, foundry and logic customers.
