Liberty Tire Recycling is a Pittsburgh-based tire recycling company that collects end-of-life tires and processes them into crumb rubber, rubberized asphalt, tire-derived fuel and aggregate, landscaping mulch, playground surfaces and other rubber products. The private equity owned company runs about 60 sites across the US and Canada, employs nearly 4,000 people and transforms more than 210 million tires a year, selling under brands such as Genaflex, EquiTile and Access-a-Mat. It hires CDL and non-CDL truck drivers, rasper, bagger and heavy equipment operators, industrial and trailer mechanics, production supervisors, dispatchers and accounts receivable staff.
