Overview
LUKOIL is a global energy enterprise, oil and gas conglomerate, and vertically integrated multinational corporation headquartered in Moscow, Russia. Founded in 1991 as a state oil concern - combining Western Siberian oil production entities in Langepas, Uray, and Kogalym (giving rise to the acronym "LUK") with major refineries - it was privatized in 1993 and is currently led by CEO Vadim Vorobyev.
