Overview
Meter is a San Francisco networking company founded in 2015 that designs and manufactures its own enterprise network hardware, including firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi 7 access points, 5G cellular gateways and PDUs, and delivers it with management software and installation as a network-as-a-service subscription. Backed by investors including John Collison, Diane Greene and David Solomon, it deploys networks for enterprises through its own teams and channel partners, and is expanding into data centre networking. It hires network and deployment engineers, firmware, backend and model engineers, product managers, enterprise and channel sales staff, recruiters and legal counsel.
