Overview
MITRE is an American not for profit corporation that operates federally funded research and development centres for United States government agencies. Its artificial intelligence work spans model assurance, adversarial machine learning and the widely used ATLAS knowledge base of attacks against machine learning systems. The organisation advises defence, aviation, health and cybersecurity agencies and deliberately holds no commercial products of its own; its centres also maintain the ATT&CK framework that security teams everywhere rely on.
