Moonshot AI is a Chinese artificial intelligence company founded in Beijing in 2023 by Tsinghua graduate Yang Zhilin and two co-founders. It develops the Kimi family of large language models and the consumer assistant of the same name, which built its early reputation on unusually long context windows capable of handling entire books and large document sets in a single conversation.
