Overview
Morningside is a private investment group that provides venture capital and private equity to companies in life sciences and technology. It invests in novel science such as biotechnology, therapeutics and medical technology as well as internet and technology businesses in the United States, China and Europe, and was an early backer of Moderna. Morningside was founded in 1986 by the Chan family of Hong Kong, led by Gerald Chan, and has offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Boston.
