MTN Group is a Johannesburg-based multinational telecommunications company that provides mobile voice, data, fintech, digital, enterprise, wholesale and API services, and is the largest mobile network operator in Africa. Launched in South Africa in 1994, it serves about 317.7 million customers in 19 markets across Africa, runs the MoMo mobile money platform and is listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.
