Overview
Mutares is a listed German private equity holding company specialising in the acquisition of companies in special situations. It buys corporate carve-outs and mid-sized businesses undergoing transition, then drives operational turnarounds and add-on acquisitions across automotive and mobility, engineering, goods and services segments in Europe. Founded in 2008 by Robin Laik and headquartered in Munich, Mutares is listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
