Overview
OMERS is one of Canada's largest defined benefit pension plans, serving municipal employees across Ontario. It invests globally through public markets and dedicated platforms for private equity, infrastructure, venture capital and real estate, the latter through its subsidiary Oxford Properties. The plan was established in 1962 as the Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System and is headquartered in Toronto.
