Overview

Patterson-UTI is a US oilfield services company headquartered in Houston, Texas, providing contract drilling, hydraulic fracturing and completion services, and drilling products to oil and gas producers. It combined with NexTier Oilfield Solutions and acquired Ulterra Drilling Technologies in 2023, adding frac and wireline fleets and Ulterra PDC drill bits to its land rigs in the Permian Basin and other US shale regions. It hires pumping operators, field and shop mechanics, CNC operators, test tank operators, maintenance technicians, field sales representatives, supply chain staff and HR business partners.
