Overview
Pepperl+Fuchs is a German industrial electronics manufacturer headquartered in Mannheim that makes sensors for factory automation and explosion protection and intrinsic safety equipment for process automation in hazardous areas. Founded in 1945 by Walter Pepperl and Ludwig Fuchs as a radio repair workshop, the privately held group has production and sales sites across Europe, the Americas and Asia, including Twinsburg in Ohio, Singapore, Veszprem, Trutnov and Ho Chi Minh City. It hires hardware, software and process engineers, supply chain planners, procurement and logistics staff and sales managers, and offers apprenticeships and dual study places in Germany.
