Overview
Reworkd built AI agents that extracted web data at scale for companies that brought lists of hundreds or thousands of websites and a target data schema. The agents traversed each site, generated Playwright scraping code and repaired it when pages changed, a pivot from the team's open-source AgentGPT project, which reached about one million users. The San Francisco company went through Y Combinator in 2023, raised about $4 million from backers including AI Grant, Paul Graham and General Catalyst, and sunset its product in February 2025.
