Overview
SBB, the Swiss Federal Railways, is the national railway company of Switzerland, headquartered in Bern and running passenger and freight rail services, rail infrastructure, stations and property. Established as a state railway in 1902, it is owned by the Swiss Confederation and employs staff across the country, with large sites in Bern, Zurich, Olten, Brig and the Lausanne region.
