Overview
Severstal is a Russian vertically integrated steel and mining company built around the Cherepovets Steel Mill, which was commissioned in 1955. It produces hot-rolled and cold-rolled flat steel, long products, large-diameter pipes and metalware, and mines its own iron ore and coking coal for construction, automotive, machine-building and energy customers. It hires across production, sales, IT and engineering, with large teams in Cherepovets, Moscow and Saint Petersburg. The company is headquartered in Cherepovets, Vologda Oblast, Russia.
