Overview
Side is an American real estate technology company founded in 2017 that operates as a licensed brokerage behind the scenes for top-performing agents who want to run their own brand. Rather than recruiting agents into its own name, it supplies the brokerage licence, compliance, transaction management, marketing and technology while the agent's own company is what clients see, which inverts the traditional franchise relationship. Headquartered in San Francisco and privately held, it works with a deliberately small number of high-producing teams rather than pursuing agent count.
