StartX is a nonprofit startup accelerator and community for Stanford University students, professors and alumni. It offers founders mentorship, peer support and access to investors, and qualifying companies can receive capital through the affiliated Stanford-StartX Fund. The organization grew out of a Stanford student entrepreneurship initiative around 2009 and is based in Palo Alto, California.
