TomTom is a Dutch location technology company founded in 1991 and headquartered in Amsterdam. After pioneering consumer satellite navigation it now builds maps, traffic data and navigation software for carmakers and developers. The company is listed on Euronext Amsterdam and maintains one of the few independent global map databases.
