Overview
Vitronet is an Essen-based group of infrastructure service companies that plans, builds and maintains fibre-optic, mobile, power, gas, water and district heating networks in Germany, from civil engineering and cable laying to in-house FTTH installation. With around 2,000 employees at more than 30 locations, roughly 350 million euros in annual revenue and over 900 clients, the group builds about 10,000 kilometres of fibre routes a year through subsidiaries such as ISKA Infrastruktur and HJ-Pitzen Infrastruktur. It hires civil engineering workers, electricians, utility fitters, truck drivers, machinery mechanics and apprentices, plus project managers, technicians and office staff.
