Founded in 1990 by Michael S. and Amy Walden, it describes itself as the largest privately held US-owned security company, with more than 8,000 employees in 49 states, the District of Columbia and four US territories. It hires armed and unarmed security officers, school and flex officers, site supervisors, account and compliance managers, and payroll and finance staff for its offices and client sites.
