Overview
Webz.io, formerly Webhose.io, is an Israeli company that crawls news sites, blogs, forums and the dark web and sells the results as structured data feeds for media monitoring, financial analysis, cybersecurity and AI companies. Its products include News API, Blogs and Forums APIs, archived web data with more than ten years of history, a Dark Web API, a data breach detection API and the Lunar cyber protection platform. The crawling technology dates back to Omgili, which Ran Geva co-founded in 2007, and Webhose.io was launched in 2016 by Geva and Guy Mor as a bootstrapped business.
