Westlake Corporation is a diversified industrial manufacturer headquartered in Houston, Texas, that supplies petrochemicals, polymers and fabricated building products for housing, infrastructure, packaging, healthcare and automotive markets. Founded in 1986 by Ting Tsung Chao with the purchase of a polyethylene plant, the NYSE-listed company has two segments, Performance and Essential Materials and Housing and Infrastructure Products, plus a global compounds division.
