Firm revises new terms of service that had suggested uploaded files could be used to 'improve machine learning models'

WeTransfer is under fire Tuesday morning after customers discovered its terms of service gives it the right to train AI models on user data. The company says that isn't true, and has officially changed the terms in response.

"We don't use machine learning or any form of AI to process content," WeTransfer says in the wake of its updated terms and conditions.

Some social media users had threatened to delete their accounts after WeTransfer's terms were updated.
