WISEcode is a food transparency technology platform and mobile application that uses artificial intelligence to evaluate packaged food ingredients, health attributes, and level of industrial processing. Founded by consumer advocate and investor Peter Castleman, the platform analyzes barcode scans against a database of hundreds of thousands of food products to identify ultra-processed foods (UPFs), score nutritional quality, and offer personalized AI nutrition coaching.
