Ghost job detection data
Every posting in Alion carries a trust level: ok, stale (open far longer than the employer usually takes to fill a role) or ghost (reposted again and again without a hire). Every company carries a hiring grade built from the same signals. In the API, trust=verified drops the postings scored as likely ghosts.

The signals
- Age against the employer's own median time to fill (stale beyond three times it, never under 90 days)
- Reposts of the same role with a new id
- A second independent signal before a posting is called a ghost
Use it
Job boards drop ghosts before they show a role; recruiters and analysts weigh a company's open roles by how real they are.
