Job Responsibilities

  • Design various types of Medium Voltage (MV) switchgear panels, including Ring Main Units (RMUs), distribution panels, and transformer kiosks.

  • Prepare detailed manufacturing and execution drawings for all panel components, specifying materials and dimensions.

  • Prepare technical documentation and Bills of Materials (BOMs) for products and projects.

  • Calculate material requirements, manufacturing costs, and production lead times.

  • Supervise the fabrication and implementation of prototypes and finished products.

  • Modify and update designs according to customer requirements and project specifications.

  • Conduct studies to improve manufacturing processes, optimize material utilization, and reduce material waste.

Requirements

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in mechanical design of Medium Voltage (MV) switchgear panels.

  • Advanced proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

  • Strong knowledge of sheet metal design, engineering drawings, material specifications, and manufacturing processes.

  • Proven experience in preparing technical documentation, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and manufacturing drawings.

  • Ability to perform material calculations, estimate manufacturing costs, and optimize material utilization.

  • Experience in prototype development, design modifications, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.

  • Age: 25–35 years.

  • Preferred Location: Cairo, Sharqia, or Ismailia.
