Job Summary

We are looking for a Test Engineer with 1-3 years of experience in the Corporate Banking domain to support testing activities for banking applications. The ideal candidate should have experience in manual testing, requirement analysis, defect management, and a good understanding of corporate banking products and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
• Execute Functional, Integration, System, Smoke, Sanity, and Regression Testing.
• Validate Corporate Banking applications, workflows, and end-to-end business processes.
• Perform API testing using Postman or SOAP UI.
• Execute SQL queries for database validation and data verification.
• Log, track, and retest defects using JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners to resolve defects and clarify requirements.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and defect triage meetings.
• Prepare test execution reports and maintain testing documentation.

Required Skills

• 1-3 years of experience in Manual Testing.
• Experience in the Corporate Banking domain.
• Good understanding of banking products such as Corporate Accounts, Payments, Cash Management, Trade Finance, Treasury, or Lending.
• Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience in Functional, Integration, System, and Regression Testing.
• Experience in API Testing using Postman or SOAP UI.
• Good knowledge of SQL for database validation.
• Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar defect management tools.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• ISTQB Foundation Level Certification is an added advantage.
• Experience with Core Banking Systems (CBS) or Digital Banking platforms is preferred.
