Senior Engineer - Software Testing

We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with 4-6 years of experience in designing and executing automated test scripts using Java and Selenium. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and hands-on experience in building scalable automation frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver
Analyze business requirements and convert them into test scenarios and test cases
Execute test cases (manual & automated) and report defects using defect tracking tools
Develop and maintain automation frameworks (Hybrid / Data-driven / POM)
Perform regression, functional, and integration testing
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
Ensure test coverage and improve test efficiency through automation
Debug and troubleshoot automation script failures
Required Skills:
Strong experience in Java programming
Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver
Experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks
Good understanding of OOP concepts
Experience with TestNG / JUnit
Knowledge of Maven / Gradle
Experience with Git or other version control tools
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
Strong understanding of SDLC & STLC
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Good to Have Skills:
Experience with API testing (Postman / Rest Assured)
Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber)
Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter)
Basic knowledge of SQL / Database testing
Experience in cloud-based testing platforms
