50 Sport is The Sports Entertainment Agency.

Editor - Sport, Entertainment & F1

At 50 Sport, we turn sport into entertainment. And great editing is at the heart of it.

We take the best of sport and find new ways to tell its stories through sharp, creative and entertaining content. From big moments that shake an industry, to raw and authentic stories that make fans feel like they’re right there. We want to create content that stops the scroll, gets people talking and makes them fall even harder for the sports and teams they love.

We’re The Sports Entertainment Agency. We work with some of the biggest names in global sport, from leading F1 teams and international tournaments to some of the world’s most recognised Sporting brands. We bring sport, entertainment and culture together to create content that fans actually want to watch.

Now, we’re looking for an Editor to join our Studio Team.

We want someone who gets sport. And if F1 is your thing, even better.

Someone who knows what motorsports fans are interested in, understands the tension of a race weekend and gets excited by the stories happening both on and off the track. You don’t just need to know how to edit; you need to know what makes a moment worth watching.

You’ll help turn raw footage into brilliant stories, bringing pace, personality and emotion to content made for one of the most recognisable sporting teams and global brand. From fast-turnaround social edits to more considered creative pieces, you’ll know how to find the story, build the tension and deliver something that makes people in their tracks, and share with their friends.

We’re looking for someone with a sharp creative eye, a feel for what works on social and a genuine passion for the craft. Someone who brings ideas to the table, cares about the details and wants to push what sports content can be.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Edit high-impact creative work
    • Craft compelling edits across brand campaigns, social content, documentary storytelling and premium branded content.
  • Bring creative ideas to life through editing
    • Collaborate with creative teams to shape the tone, pace and storytelling of projects from rough cut through to final delivery.
  • Create standout social edits
    • Apply platform-native techniques, fast pacing and bold editorial approaches that elevate our content in crowded feeds.
  • Work across multiple formats and outputs
    • Deliver work across social, digital, broadcast and campaign environments.
  • Shape narrative and rhythm
    • Help define the storytelling arc of projects through editorial decisions that heighten emotion, tension and energy.
  • Collaborate with Motion, Sound and Design teams
    • Work closely with motion designers and sound specialists to ensure editorial, graphics and sound design combine into one seamless piece of storytelling.
  • Champion editorial craft
    • Maintain best-in-class standards and constantly push for distinctive, powerful and culturally relevant work.
  • Stay ahead of editorial culture
    • Track emerging editing techniques, social formats and storytelling trends across sport, entertainment and digital culture.
  • Knowledge in motorsport and F1 is a massive bonus
    • Learning the key nuances and storylines that bring these fans back for more.

This role is for you if you:

  • Are an expert in editorial storytelling
    • You understand how to craft narrative through pacing, structure and emotion.
    • You can cut a hero film, a social edit, or a documentary-style story with equal confidence.
  • Understand the intersection of Sport & Entertainment
    • You instinctively know how to amplify the spectacle, drama and emotion of sport through editorial craft.
  • Have deep knowledge of social editing techniques
    • You understand how content lives in the feed - from punchy social edits and platform-native formats to bold visual transitions, pacing and rhythm that stop the scroll.
  • Have exceptional taste and editorial instinct
    • You know when to push a moment harder, when to strip things back, and when to surprise the viewer.
  • Are fluent in modern editing tools and workflows
    • Advanced knowledge of Premiere Pro is essential. Experience with After Effects, sound design and colour workflows are highly valued.
  • Are collaborative and creative
    • You enjoy working closely with Creative Directors, Motion Designers, Producers and Social teams to shape ideas and elevate the final output. You may even have some of these skills yourself.
  • Are organised and calm under pressure
    • You can manage multiple projects, respond to feedback constructively and maintain quality in fast-paced production environments.
  • Live and breathe sport
    • You understand the drama, culture and storytelling power of sport and how it resonates with global fan communities.
  • Care deeply about craft
    • Sound design, rhythm, pacing and transitions matter to you. You know the difference between a good edit and a great one.
  • Are hungry to work on the biggest brands in sport
    • From global rights holders to world-famous teams and sponsors, our work lives on some of the biggest stages in sport.
