Job Title:Software Engineer

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our Software Engineering team. This role sits between the Associate Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer levels, requiring a solid foundation in software engineering principles along with practical experience delivering production-ready applications.

The successful candidate will develop and maintain web applications using React for the front end, .NET C# Web API for the back end, and SQL for database management. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and technical best practices.

Roles & responsibility:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using React, .NET C# Web API, and SQL.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following established coding standards and best practices.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Apply object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and software engineering best practices.
• Develop and optimize database queries and contribute to database design and performance improvements.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and application issues.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for applications, APIs, and development processes.
• Contribute to code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Develop reusable components and shared functionality to improve development efficiency.
• Support application performance, scalability, and security initiatives.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, development tools, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3-5 years of professional software development experience in a commercial environment.
• Strong proficiency in .NET C#, ASP.NET Core/Web API, React, and SQL.
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern web development concepts.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, source control (Git), the software development lifecycle (SDLC), data structures and algorithms, and relational database design and normalization.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging complex application issues.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Understanding of software security principles and secure coding practices.
• Ability to analyze requirements and develop scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Exposure to cloud-based environments and deployment practices.
• Experience with Python or other programming languages.
• Experience developing reusable component libraries or shared frameworks.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Vite or similar front-end build tools.
