AbbVie is an American biopharmaceutical company created in 2013 when Abbott Laboratories separated its research-based drug business into a standalone listed company. It was built around the immunology drug Humira, once the highest selling medicine in the world, and has since replaced that revenue with the successor immunology drugs Skyrizi and Rinvoq, an oncology portfolio led by Imbruvica and Venclexta, neuroscience products including Botox Therapeutic and Vraylar, and the aesthetics business acquired with Allergan. Headquartered in North Chicago and listed on the New York Stock Exchange, it is one of the largest pharmaceutical companies by revenue.

About AbbVie

AbbVie's mission is to discover and deliver innovative medicines and solutions that solve serious health issues today and address the medical challenges of tomorrow. We strive to have a remarkable impact on people's lives across several key therapeutic areas including immunology, oncology and neuroscience - and products and services in our Allergan Aesthetics portfolio.
