Transportation Care Coordinator

Job Description:

• Handle high volumes of inbound and outbound phone calls from members and facilities
• Assist members with scheduling non-emergency medical transportation
• Deliver exceptional customer service during escalated or complex member interactions
• Consult with members to understand needs and identify appropriate transportation options
• Communicate clearly and professionally with members and facilities
• Adapt service approach to different member personalities, needs, and situations
• Use positive, empathetic language to represent the company professionally
• Use technology and automation to streamline transportation experiences

Requirements:

• High school education level
• Minimum of 2 years’ customer service experience in a call center environment (preferred)
• Experience with diagnosing and troubleshooting technology (preferred)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Adaptable and open to change
• Professionalism in all aspects of work
• Accountability for tasks and responsibilities
• Dedicated home office workspace, ideally a separate room with its own door
• Sufficient space to set up the workstation
• Hardwired internet connection from router to laptop
• Stable and reliable high-speed internet connection
• Three available power connections
• Ability to adhere to a 40-hour workweek
• Ability to participate in video or phone meetings and remain reachable during scheduled work hours
• 100% attendance required during training period
• Must be available for an 8-hour shift, first or second shift, including a weekend shift
