Member Engagement Manager

ACCA is seeking an experienced and passionate Member Engagement Manager on a full-time, permanent basis, to drive member value, engagement and advocacy within our Africa Region.
In this role, you will develop and execute member engagement strategies, build influential member communities, strengthen partnerships, and create meaningful experiences that support our members' professional growth and connection to ACCA.
The Job
Reporting to the Head of West and Central Africa, this role will:
- Develop and deliver member engagement plans that enhance member value and advocacy
- Build and nurture member communities aligned with ACCA's strategic ambitions
- Manage relationships with influential members, advocates and key stakeholders
- Organize and deliver member-focused events and initiatives
- Identify opportunities to enhance member value through partnerships and collaborations
- Gather market insights to help shape ACCA's products, services and member propositions
- Work closely with local, regional and global teams to achieve engagement targets and business objectives.
The Person
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Proven experience in building and sustaining professional relationships, networks or communities
- Experience in managing senior stakeholders and influencing at all levels
- Understanding of the accounting, finance or professional services sector
- Strong communication, relationship management and interpersonal skills
- Experience in working with volunteers, committees or member-led groups is an advantage. Familiarity with MS Teams and social media platforms
- Self-motivated, proactive and results-oriented, with excellent planning and organizational skills.
