As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by actively monitoring and investigating issues across various components of essential business systems. The professional collaborates with different teams to maintain system stability and promptly address any disruptions that may impact business processes, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of the technology environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of system issues and minimize downtime.
- Document and communicate findings and solutions clearly to stakeholders and team members.
- Continuously monitor system performance and proactively identify potential areas of improvement.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance to support their development.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Experience in debugging and troubleshooting complex SAP ABAP programs and HANA database interactions.
- Strong understanding of SAP system architecture and integration points.
- Ability to analyze and optimize ABAP code for performance improvements in HANA environments.
- Familiarity with SAP tools and methodologies for application support and incident management.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- This position is based at the client onsite location within India.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
