Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and support of business applications.
- Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
- Assist in the implementation of system updates and patches to enhance application stability.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues before they impact business operations.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in COBOL.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve complex software issues.
- Experience with debugging and troubleshooting legacy systems and applications.
- Ability to work with various operating environments and understand system dependencies.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with software lifecycle processes and incident management.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in COBOL.
- This position is based at our NGDC1A - NON-STPI location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
