As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. The position demands collaboration with different teams to maintain system reliability and support business continuity through timely and effective problem resolution.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to streamline issue resolution and improve system stability.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their problem-solving skills and technical knowledge.
- Continuously evaluate and improve support processes to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Google Cloud Machine Learning Services.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Machine Learning, Prompt Engineering, Google Cloud Gemini.
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose and troubleshoot complex system issues effectively.
- Ability to work with cloud-based machine learning platforms and integrate solutions within business environments.
- Experience in monitoring and maintaining high availability of critical applications.
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting to streamline support tasks and incident management.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in Google Cloud Machine Learning Services.
- This position is based at our M2B - STPI office.
