Summary:

As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, developing, and configuring software systems tailored to meet specific project requirements or stages within a product lifecycle. The role includes applying a broad understanding of various technologies, methodologies, and tools to effectively support clients and project teams. Collaboration with different stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and functionality of software components is a key aspect, alongside continuous evaluation and enhancement of system performance to align with evolving project goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.

- Responsible for team decisions.

- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.

- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.

- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.

- Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and guiding their professional development.

- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment of project objectives and deliverables.

Professional & Technical Skills:

- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Veeva Vault.

- Strong experience in software configuration and customization within regulated environments.

- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues efficiently.

- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.

- Competence in integrating software solutions with existing enterprise systems.

- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering scalable and maintainable solutions.

Additional Information:

- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Veeva Vault.

- This position is based at our Kolkata office.

- A 15 years full time education is required.
