As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of bespoke software solutions. This role requires guiding teams through the entire development lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The position focuses on establishing development standards and ensuring that the software produced meets expectations for quality, scalability, and performance. Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of best practices to enhance software quality and delivery efficiency.
- Mentor and support team members to foster professional growth and technical excellence.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure alignment of project goals and timely delivery.
- Monitor project progress and proactively address any risks or challenges that may arise.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in DevOps.
- Strong knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Experience with infrastructure as code and automation tools.
- Ability to manage cloud environments and container orchestration platforms.
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and performance tuning of software systems.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
