Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of hands-on backend development in Java and Spring Boot. Familiarity with Python is a plus.
  • Strong data structures and algorithms fundamentals, with sound reasoning about time and space complexity.
  • Solid core Java and object-oriented design, including collections, concurrency basics, and SOLID principles applied in practice.
  • Working knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL) schema design, indexing, and transactions.
  • Familiarity with unit testing, Git, and AI-assisted coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot).
  • Exposure to Docker, CI/CD, AWS, or message queues is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with a bias for ownership and the appetite to learn quickly in a startup environment.
