POSITION TITLE: Order to Cash Ops Manager

WORK SETUP: Return to Office

OVERALL PURPOSE:

The Global Process Owner (GPO) for Order Management is responsible for driving the design, standardization, and continuous improvement of end-to-end order management processes across Microsoft’s global supply chain.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Functional & Technical Expertise

• Strong end-to-end knowledge of Order Management within Microsoft Supply Chain (including order intake, confirmation, fulfillment, and exception management)
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, reporting tools (e.g., Power BI), and supply chain systems
• Proven track record in process improvement, automation, and global process standardization

1. Process Ownership & Simplification

• Own and continuously improve global order management processes across all regions and segments
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate workflows to improve efficiency and reduce operational complexity
• Drive implementation of scalable solutions aligned with digital supply chain transformation initiatives (e.g., automation, AI, SAP enhancements)

2. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Partner effectively with cross-functional teams (Channel Management, Planning, Logistics, Finance, and Sales) to ensure seamless process execution
• Build strong relationships across regional teams and global stakeholders to align priorities and drive collective outcomes
• Foster an inclusive, open environment that encourages diverse perspectives, feedback, and continuous improvement

3. Problem Identification & Solutioning

• Proactively identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and recurring operational issues within order management flows
• Clearly articulate problem statements supported by data and operational insights
• Lead root-cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions to improve order confirmation, fulfillment, and accuracy
• Drive escalation management and resolution of critical order-related issues impacting business performance

4. Documentation & Knowledge Management

• Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation (SOPs, process maps, playbooks, and training materials)

• Ensure global alignment and version
