About the Role

Join Accenture's SAP practice and help organizations build, enhance, and optimize SAP solutions through innovative application development and technical excellence. As an SAP ABAP Consultant, you will work across SAP implementation, enhancement, integration, and support initiatives, delivering scalable and high-quality solutions that enable business transformation.

This role provides opportunities to work on complex SAP landscapes, S/4HANA transformation programs, and emerging SAP technologies while collaborating with global teams and business stakeholders across industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support SAP ABAP solutions across various SAP modules and business processes.
• Develop and enhance reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, workflows, and custom applications.
• Analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into technical designs and development solutions.
• Build and support integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems using appropriate integration technologies.
• Perform code reviews, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization to ensure solution quality and stability.
• Support SAP implementation, upgrade, migration, and S/4HANA transformation projects.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, business users, and project teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Contribute to technical documentation, testing activities, deployment support, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Share technical knowledge and mentor junior team members based on career level and experience.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in SAP ABAP development within SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, or related SAP environments.
• Knowledge of ABAP programming concepts including reports, enhancements, interfaces, data dictionary, forms, and object-oriented ABAP.
• Experience developing and supporting SAP customizations, integrations, and technical solutions.
• Understanding of SAP development lifecycle, debugging, testing, and performance optimization practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within local and global delivery teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA development, ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, OData Services, RAP, or Fiori technologies.
• Experience with SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, workflow automation, or application modernization initiatives.
• SAP ABAP, SAP S/4HANA, or related SAP certifications.
• Knowledge of integration technologies such as IDoc, RFC, BAPI, Web Services, APIs, or middleware platforms.
• Experience participating in large-scale SAP transformation or managed services engagements.
• Experience leading technical workstreams, development teams, or SAP delivery teams for senior-level candidates.
