Job Summary
As an SAP Retail MM/SD Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the design, configuration, implementation, and optimization of SAP Retail solutions across Materials Management (MM) and Sales & Distribution (SD) processes. You will work closely with business stakeholders and project teams to deliver retail transformation initiatives, support omnichannel operations, and improve supply chain and sales processes within SAP S/4HANA Retail environments.
The ideal candidate will have experience in SAP Retail merchandising, procurement, inventory management, pricing, promotions, order management, and fulfillment processes.
Additional Key Responsibilities
- Support implementation and enhancement projects within SAP Retail MM and SD modules.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and system configurations.
- Configure and support retail procurement, purchasing, inventory management, and merchandise distribution processes.
- Support sales order management, pricing, promotions, billing, and customer fulfillment processes.
- Participate in end-to-end testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing activities.
- Assist in troubleshooting system issues and provide functional support to business users.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including CAR, PMR, POSDTA, OAA, Master Data, and Finance teams.
- Support omnichannel retail capabilities and order fulfillment processes.
- Prepare functional documentation, process flows, and training materials.
- Participate in data migration, master data validation, and cutover activities.
- Contribute to continuous process improvements and SAP best practices adoption.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of hands-on SAP experience with focus on SAP Retail MM and/or SD.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Retail solutions.
- Knowledge of procurement, purchasing, inventory management, merchandise distribution, and retail supply chain processes.
- Experience with sales order processing, pricing, billing, and order fulfillment.
- Understanding of retail master data including articles, sites, assortments, and business partners.
- Experience participating in SAP implementation, enhancement, or support projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
Additional Qualifications & Skills
- Experience with SAP CAR integration and omnichannel retail processes.
- Familiarity with POSDTA, OAA, PMR, DDF, and UDF concepts is a plus.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications and SAP Activate methodology.
- Experience with functional specification documentation and testing activities.
- Exposure to Agile project delivery methodologies.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP Retail MM and/or SAP SD certification.
- Experience in large-scale retail transformation programs.
- Knowledge of allocation, replenishment, merchandise planning, or demand forecasting concepts.
- Exposure to integration with third-party retail and POS systems.
- Experience working in global delivery environments and cross-functional teams.
