Headquartered in Issy-les-Moulineaux, France, Accor is a global hospitality enterprise operating one of the largest networks of hotels, resorts, and vacation rentals in the world. The company manages, franchises, and owns a diverse portfolio of brands spanning luxury, premium, midscale, and economy segments - including Raffles, Fairmont, Sofitel, Pullman, Novotel, and Ibis - along with lifestyle venues and co-working spaces.

The Hoxton has opened its very first hotel in Ireland in the beautiful capital city of Dublin. This coastal city is steeped in history, packed with green parks and brought to life through music, art and the best social eating and drinking. The Hoxton, Dublin is home to 129 bedrooms of varying sizes, a lobby bar & restaurant, a historic bar, Cantina Valentina, our large ground floor restaurant and The Dig - our unique meetings and events space.

We are now looking for an experienced Groups & Events Coordinator to join our team and support the continued growth of our groups and events business. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will play a key role in driving revenue through the reactive (and occasionally proactive) management and conversion of group, meeting and event enquiries. You will work with both the Sales team and Reservations team as part of your role.

What you’ll do

  • Own and manage your Groups & Events enquiries from first contact through to execution - handling calls and emails, responding promptly and ensuring every client receives a memorable first impression of The Hoxton and Ennismore.
  • Manage your own booking pipeline, from proposal creation and contract management through to rooming lists, detailing and final invoicing.
  • Build strong relationships internally and externally, always keeping the guest experience at the heart of everything you do.
  • You will work with our reservations team & manage new and existing individual rooms reservations through telephone, email, and website reservations.
  • Anticipate needs and proactively provide solutions so that our guests’ expectations are not only met but exceeded.
  • Coordinate all aspects of confirmed meetings and events with operational teams, ensuring expectations are clear, documented and delivered.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly function sheets and confidently present them in the weekly operations meeting.
  • Conduct on-property show rounds and client planning meetings.
  • Proactively build long-term client relationships, identifying opportunities for repeat business and tracking year-on-year trends.
  • Oversee key administrative elements including deposits, billing, and actualising events accurately in the system.

What we’re looking for…

  • Previous experience within hotel Groups & Events, or Reservations - you’re confident managing bookings and ready to take ownership of your own groups.
  • Someone with seriously strong attention to detail who thrives on staying organised in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confident using systems such as Outlook, Excel and Word. Experience with OPERA and/or Delphi is a plus.
  • A natural relationship builder - you’re professional, personable and know how to build trust with both clients and internal teams.
  • Calm under pressure, solutions-focused and able to juggle multiple priorities without dropping the ball.
  • Not precious - We leave egos at the door and step in to support each other when it counts.
  • Motivated, proactive and excited to be part of a team that works hard, collaborates openly and enjoys what they do.

What's in it for you...

  • Become part of a team that’s very passionate about creating great hospitality experiences.
  • Competitive salary.
  • 30 days holiday (including bank holidays)
  • Food on us during your shift.
  • Enjoy a free night at The Hoxton and a meal for two when you first start with us.
  • Training to get you settled into your role with ongoing development that helps you think, make and thrive to set you up for success at work.
  • Time off to volunteer with one of our partner charities.
  • Hox Hero and Nifty Fifty, our rewards for going the extra mile and living our values.
  • An annual diversity and inclusion calendar of events creating opportunities for you to learn, celebrate and make a positive impact.
  • Regular team get togethers, from our High Fives to our (pretty special!) team parties - we know how to have a good time!
  • The chance to challenge the norm and work in an environment that is both creative and rewarding.
  • Join an innovative, fast-growing, international group that is shaking things up on the hospitality scene.
  • Excellent discounts across The Hoxton and the global Ennismore family.
