Senior Data Architect

Description :

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect to lead enterprise data modernization initiatives using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Platform technologies. This customer-facing role combines solution architecture, technical leadership, pre-sales support, and delivery oversight.

Responsibilities :

- Lead architecture workshops and stakeholder discussions

- Design end-to-end Microsoft Fabric and Azure data solutions

- Define data governance frameworks using Microsoft Purview

- Guide and mentor data engineering teams

- Support pre-sales activities, solution design, and proposal development

- Advise customers on data platform modernization and migration strategies

- Develop reusable architectures, standards, and accelerators

- Drive knowledge sharing and capability development

Requirements :

- 10+ years of experience in data engineering and data platform architecture

- Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL

- Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale data platforms

- Strong knowledge of OneLake, Fabric Lakehouse, Fabric Warehouse, Spark Notebooks, Real-Time Intelligence, and Power BI

- Proficiency in SQL, Python, PySpark, and T-SQL

- Experience working directly with enterprise customers in consulting or professional services environments

- Strong understanding of Power BI semantic models and enterprise BI solutions

- Experience leading technical teams and driving successful project delivery

- Microsoft Azure/Fabric certifications, Microsoft Purview experience, regulated industry exposure, and familiarity with dbt or modern data integration tools are preferred
