General Summary:

TheMission Critical Quality / CommissioningProject Engineerwillbe responsibleforprovidingahigh levelof project-specific administrative support forthe onsiteQualityand Commissioning Team.TheQCxProject Engineer willassistthe onsiteQCxManagerwith the control and organization of product documentation and detailed phase-by-phase tracking.

Preferred Job Skills:

• Knowledge of building codes and regulations including Life Safety, BOCA, NFPA, NEC, and OSHA.

• Must be able to read and interpretspecifications, submittals, single-line diagramsand other contract documents.

• Ability to work under pressure, while closely trackingQC details of multiple project activities.

• Strong computer skills and familiarity with Construction Management software and Microsoft Office.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.

• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, hands-on, working environment.

• Must have experience in a decision-making position, be self-motivated,and have an analytical mindset.

• Experience collaborating with field and management to understand and implement technological and Quality programs.

• Acute attention to detailand organizational skills.

• Ability to maintainthe required levels of confidentiality when entrusted with sensitive business, customer, or employee related information.

• Able to maintainhigh levelsof productivity, meeting deadlines while maintaining accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Drive a quality culture that embraces "Implement Quality from the Start" and coachcontinuous learning approach that improves project efficiency and quality.

• Identifyareas for improvement while implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.

• Assistinvestigations into quality-related incidents, conduct root cause analysesand implement corrective actions, establishingpreventative measures to minimize future incidents.

• Manage the verification and documentation for all Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) equipment, ensuring conformance with the approved submittal while adhering to the Equipment Protection Plan.

• Assistonsite QCxteam with administrative support as needed.

• Participate in requireddaily, weekly,and monthly meetings (i.e.,daily Cx, scheduling, coordination, pre-energization,and staffing meetings).

• Assistin the coordination of the First Time Energization (FTE) documentation process from start to finish.

• Identifiespotential quality issues from review of construction submittals / specifications.

• Analyzes upcoming tasks and anticipatesequipment installation standards, checklist proceduresand training.

• Conduct regular audits and assessments of processes, systems, and documentation to ensure adherence to quality standards.

• Manage all project issue logs and punch lists collaborating with all affected and/or responsible parties to mitigate and drive to closure any open issues.

• AuditQuality Reports documenting field discrepancies and audit findings while coordinating corrective actions.

• Ascertain information regardingchanges to regulations that could impactMission Critical operations.

• Identifyand assess quality risks associated with Mission Critical operations.

• Manage /track certain OFCI equipment while communicating status with the construction team.

• Develop/conduct training pertaining totopics in relation to electrical systems, components, and/or departmental specific.
