Informatica Architect - Cloud Application Integration

Role : Informatica Architect (CAI - Cloud Application Integration)

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Informatica Architect with strong expertise in Cloud Application Integration (CAI), Informatica PowerCenter, and Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS/IDMC).

The candidate will be responsible for designing and owning enterprise-level data integration architectures, developing scalable integration solutions, and leading data modernisation and migration initiatives. The role requires deep technical expertise in ETL architecture, cloud integration, database performance optimisation, and enterprise data platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Enterprise Data Integration Architecture :

- Design and own end-to-end enterprise data integration solutions using Informatica technologies.

- Develop scalable integration architectures aligned with business and technical requirements.

- Define integration patterns, architecture standards, and best practices for enterprise data environments.

- Lead architecture decisions related to data movement, transformation, connectivity, and integration.

- Ensure integration solutions meet requirements for scalability, performance, reliability, and maintainability.

2. Informatica CAI, PowerCenter & IICS/IDMC :

- Design and implement integration solutions using Informatica Cloud Application Integration (CAI).

- Leverage Informatica PowerCenter and IICS/IDMC for enterprise data integration and ETL requirements.

- Develop and optimise ETL workflows, mappings, and data integration processes.

- Identify performance bottlenecks and improve workflow execution and data processing efficiency.

3. Data Architecture & ETL Optimisation :

- Define data integration architecture and appropriate ETL design approaches.

- Optimise data workflows, transformations, and integration processes.

- Establish best practices for data quality, governance, and integration management.

4. Database Design & Performance Tuning :

- Work with relational databases such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.

- Optimise SQL queries and database operations to improve integration performance.

- Apply database performance optimisation techniques involving indexing, partitioning, and query tuning.

5. Cloud Integration & Modern Data Platforms :

- Design and implement cloud-based data integration solutions across AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Support cloud-native ETL architecture and enterprise cloud integration initiatives.

- Work with platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, and Azure Synapse, where applicable.

6. Technical Leadership & Stakeholder Management :

- Provide technical leadership and architectural direction to development and integration teams.

- Mentor engineers and guide teams on Informatica architecture and implementation best practices.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and enterprise architects to understand integration requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 10+ years of experience in enterprise data integration.

- Mandatory hands-on experience with Informatica Cloud Application Integration (CAI).

- Strong experience with Informatica PowerCenter and IICS/IDMC.

- Expertise in end-to-end solution architecture and enterprise integration patterns.

- Strong understanding of ETL design, workflow optimisation, and performance tuning.

- Experience with Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server.

- Experience designing cloud integration solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Proven experience in technical leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) and Master Data Management (MDM).

- Exposure to Snowflake, Databricks, or Azure Synapse.

- Experience with cloud-native ETL and modern data platforms.
