Position: Senior SAP Security Technical Consultant
Work Location: India - Remote role
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Pay rate range: $21- $23/Hr
Role Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP Security Technical Consultant to support SAP security, user administration, authorization troubleshooting, security patching and technical security activities across the SAP landscape.
The role will collaborate with technical, functional, infrastructure and governance stakeholders while supporting secure and compliant SAP operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Support SAP user administration.
• Troubleshoot SAP roles and authorization issues, including SU53 analysis.
• Support deployment of SAP security patches.
• Support RFC security.
• Manage/support TLS/SSL certificate renewals.
• Support audit and compliance requirements.
• Assist with secure SAP transport management across Development, QA, Pre-Production and Production environments.
• Support SAP system monitoring and technical troubleshooting where security issues intersect with BASIS administration.
• Support integration and connectivity areas including cloud connectors, SAP BTP interfaces and third-party middleware monitoring.
• Coordinate activities with key stakeholders, PMO, infrastructure teams and functional leads.
• Participate as a core team member within the Agile delivery methodology Incident & Operational Support
• Provide support for production incidents related to SAP security and authorizations.
• Perform troubleshooting and contribute to root-cause analysis.
• Support high-priority production issues.
• Participate in on-call support rotations where required.
